Brief article reporting that Gov. McKernan this week gave the Saco River Corridor Commission $10,000 from the governor\u27s contingency fund. The commission was created by the Legislature 20 years ago and was charged with assessing the environmental impact of all development within 500 feet of the Saco, Ossipee and Little Ossipee rivers.
