James Papatones, 42, of York, a lawyer, has been suspended from practicing law in New Hampshire, and the New Hampshire Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct has filed a petition for disbarment. Papatones allegedly collected excessive fees, generated billings before work was done and used personal information to control Bert Elliott, a former friend for whom Papatones administered a trust fund. Karen Kingsley, assistant bar counsel for the Board of Overseers of Maine\u27s Bar, said Papatones will be suspended in Maine effective June 20
