A team from Peoples Heritage Bank emerged as the winner of Portland\u27s first Corporate Spelling Bee, which raised money for the Portland Partnership\u27s School District Improvement Innovative Grants program. The team, consisting of Dale Brown, Jane Shaw and Brian Arsenault, faced a team from the University of Southern Maine in the final round. The event raised nearly $7,000 for Portland Partnership, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the city\u27s school system. Details
