Lisa Esposito has filed a lawsuit against The Doctor\u27s in South Portland, a bar which she says had a responsibility to stop serving liquor to her estranged husband after he became visibly drunk. Thomas G. Esposito, 32, of South Portland, died of alcohol poisoning January 16 after consuming tequila at the bar. The Maine Liquor Liability Act allows a harmed third party to sue the establishment that served a patron. The lawsuit could set a precedent if the owner of the bar is held liable for Esposito\u27s death. Details
