The Pentagon yesterday announced that it will locate a Department of Defense accounting center at Loring Air Force Base in Limestone. The center will be among 25 set up by the Pentagon in its consolidation of 300 existing centers, and will bring 750 jobs and a $22.5 million annual payroll to Loring.
