South Portland police chief Robert M. Schwartz has been suspended a week without pay for deliberate harassment of and discrimination against Det. Linda Barker because she was female. Disciplinary action was also taken against Deputy Chief Boyce A. Sanborn and Lt. Mark Clark because of their roles in the affair.
