The Portland Public Library, in conjunction with National Library Week, will hold a book appraisal session Friday afternoon. Also scheduled are Portland author Monica Wood, who will read from her new novel, and book artist David Wolfe of Ascensius Press, who will give a talk on book designing and printing. The library is also offering amnesty to people with overdue books. Details
