Influenced by the many abused children he encounters in his work, Steve Webster, 29, a South Portland police officer, has written and recorded a song, The Power of a Child, which celebrates the joy children bring to the world. Recorded using $1,600 donated by family, friends, and businesses, the tape cassettes will go on sale at Shop \u27n Save supermarkets in the Greater Portland area by April 25. Proceeds will be donated to Camp Sunshine in Casco, a retreat for families of children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. With lyrics
