Influenced by the many abused children he encounters in his work, Steve Webster, 29, a South Portland police officer, has written and recorded a song, The Power of a Child, which celebrates the joy children bring to the world. Recorded using $1,600 donated by family, friends, and businesses, the tape cassettes will go on sale at Shop \u27n Save supermarkets in the Greater Portland area by April 25.
