The Maine Legislature is set to debate the supplemental budget for the balance of the biennium that ends June 30, 1995. State aid to local schools and the Maine Health Program are sure to be the centerpieces of discussion. The supplemental budget, as it stands, now contains only $4 million in extra money for local education and no money for the now-defunct health program, but the two issues were on the minds of a number of legislators last week.
