Many of the state\u27s legislators are confused about aspects of the three proposed bills that would allow casino gambling in the state, and as new questions arise the momentum to approve gambling is starting to wane. Part of the plan would create the Rising Tide Regional Development Fund, which is designed to funnel money back into Washington County for economic development. Questions still surround whether the federal Indian Gaming and Regulatory Act applies to Maine\u27s Indians, and what implications it has for the proposal to build a casino in Calais. Details
