The Maine Maritime Museum in Bath has a $1 million annual budget, a $7 million endowment and hosts more than 60,000 visitors a year. The museum, which once was scattered in branches throughout downtown Bath, is today housed in the $3.5 million Maritime History Building on the property of the Percy & Small Shipyard several miles south of town.
