The University of Maine at Orono will be the site of a two-day conference next month where teachers, community leaders, parents and others will discuss the future of education in Maine. The conference will also provide ideas for the 21-member Task Force on Learning Results, which has the responsibility of developing educational goals and a five-year plan for the Maine State Board of Education.
