The Legislature\u27s State and Local Government Committee has said that the bills seeking secession votes for four of Portland\u27s Casco Bay islands need more work, and that they will take another look at the issue in 1994. The committee decided that there wasn\u27t enough time left in this legislative session to resolve legal issues and questions about financial issues
