Lobstermen from Chebeague and Long islands, Yarmouth and Falmouth have petitioned the state to limit the number of lobster traps allowed on a line in Casco Bay to 12, and to limit lines to 810 feet. The move is seen by some as anticipating a spread of the feuding among lobstermen that has plagued Portland Harbor, where lines having from 24 to 50 traps a piece have led to entanglements and fighting
