Champion International Corp. of Stamford, Conn., is beginning its Special Places in the Forest program by dedicating three sites for preservation, including Holmes Falls, a 55-acre river trail and rapids complex in Washington County. Champion has designated 2,500 acres at 25 sites across the country to be included in the program. Details
