Article on a 4,000-square-foot prefabricated summer home in Brooklin, constructed from twelve steel shipping containers. Owners Anne and Matthew Adriance completed work on their home last year, using the 40-foot-long metal boxes that are used to transport goods aboard ships all over the world. New Jersey architect Adam Kalkin designed and helped build the Adriance\u27s home. His latest creation is the Quik House, a prefabricated kit house made from four containers that can be delivered to a waiting foundation for $76,000 plus an estimated $3,000 shipping. A fully-furnished Quik House, including excavation, foundation and construction costs $178,500
