This Just In piece on the Portland City Council elections for the At-Large seat, suggesting that the Portland Democratic City Committee (PDCC) is endorsing Ed Suslovic as a favored candidate, while discouraging Democrat Loretta Griffin from running. Griffin was angered at the suggestion and is committed to running. Sive Neilan, chair of PDCC, says the committee was only trying to present potential candidates with the reality of running for office. Carol Schiller, Green Independent candidate for the At-Large seat, received the endorsement of the Portland Green Independent Committee. The council election is supposedly a nonpartisan race
