U.S. District Court Judge Gene Carter last week sentenced Susan Crane to 27 months in federal prison for her role in an anti-war protest at Bath Iron Works in February. Crane refused to stand for Carter, and her sentence was three months longer than that recommended by the prosecution. Carter also sentenced Steve Baggerly of Virginia to 13 months in prison and Thomas Lewis-Borbley of Massachusetts to six months
