Profiles of two couples who work side-by-side as artists. Jim and Laurie Kennedy live in Carthage. Jim plays the cello and Jill plays the violin with the Portland Symphony Orchestra. They perform and teach as the Katahdin String Quartet, and are the music directors of the Sebago Long Lake Chamber Festival. Christopher and Jenny Cart, of Hallowell, both paint Maine places and people, run a gallery in their barn. They teach adult education classes in Augusta. Christopher does illustrations for books and magazines, and Jenny teaches belly dancing
