Maine\u27s new Turtle Ridge Trail offers hikers a Zen-like peace. The special feel of the state\u27s newly built trail loop, part of the larger Nahmakanta Public Reserve, attests to the skills of AmeriCorps\u27 College Conservation Corp. The 11-mile trail offers enticing views of Katahdin to the north and White Cap Mountain to the south. The trail, located north of Brownville, was dedicated by the Bureau of Parks and Lands last June 5 on National Trails Day
