The Maine Land Use Regulation Commission in March voted 4-1 against a proposed public boat launch at remote Spencer Lake. S. D. Warren offered to donate the boat-launch site, and the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife agreed to build it. A citizen petition from Jackman and The Forks asks LURC to reverse its decision, and IF&W says the decision was unjustified. The appeals will be considered at LURC\u27s May meeting. Details
