Scientists are planning a two-year investigation of Cobscook Bay, which has seen a 90 percent reduction in the clam harvest. The marine research project will be funded by a $175,000 contribution from the A.W. Mellon Foundation, with another $175,000 from the Maine chapter of the Nature Conservancy and university and government sources. Details
