It is the first time that the NRCM, which is Maine\u27s largest environmental group, has supported an anti-clear-cutting referendum. The NRCM also proposed an exemption from the referendum\u27s restrictions for all owners of less than 1,000 acres. But the Yes on 2 forces were being out-fundraised $4,400 to $371,000 for opponents of the referendum, according to campaign spending reports filed in July
