News & Issues piece on a legislative bill that extends a prohibition against personal watercraft, also known as jet skis, on Kennebago, Nicatous, South Branch and Spring lakes, as well as five bodies of water in the town of Phippsburg on the coast. Gov. Angus King has singed the bill into law. Andrea Erskine of the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife said her agency is waiting to hear from other towns that have said they will submit ban petitions.
