MBNA last Thursday announced plans to add up to 2,000 new jobs in Belfast. The company\u27s expansion plan calls for a new 230,000-square-foot facility contiguous to and west of its existing 130,000-square-foot structure. The project encompasses 141 acres and includes parking for 1,200 cars plus room for expansion, and 8.5 acres will be restored to wetlands. MBNA employs nearly 1,400 people at its 14-month-old Belfast operations center, and 600 at its regional center in Camden. Details
