Jack Jensen, CEO, purchased the company from his employer, Philips Electronics North America Corp., in 2003. Expanding far beyond Philips\u27 focus of light bulb filaments, Jensen has increased the company\u27s revenues 30 percent, to nearly $60 million a year. This fall, Elmet announced that Boston-based Harbor Acquisition Corp. would acquire Elmet to allow the company to continue its growth.
