Business Maine: Central & Western piece on Kingfield-based Jordan Lumber Co., which recently announced it will sell H. G. Winter & Sons, the wood-turning plant in Kingfield it bought last September. Jonathan Jordan, vice president of Jordan Lumber, would not disclose the name of the buyer. H. G. Winter, which had been owned by three generations of the Winter family, blamed its January 2003 closing on increasing costs and pressure from foreign competition
