Business Maine: Central & Western piece reporting that more than 20 civic, governmental and private organizations endorsed a smaller version of the controversial Redington Wind Power Project on July 20. The revised $110 million, 18-turbine renewable energy project would mean turbines would only be built on Black Nubble Mountain, not on the Redington Pond Range. Yarmouth-based Maine Mountain Power LLC omitted Redington Pond Range in its revamped proposal because environmentalists were concerned the ecology of that site was vulnerable to development
