Newsworthy piece with a profile of Michael Bourque, chair of the board of the Children\u27s Theatre of Maine, who helped the group overcome heavy debts and poor management by partnering with the Children\u27s Museum of Maine. When Bourque took over as chair in October 2006, the theater\u27s annual budget was over $450,000, and they had maxed out a $30,000 line of credit and had roughly $50,000 in unpaid bills. In August 2007 the two nonprofits announced a partnership and the theater moved into the basement level of the Portland museum.
