Business Maine: Central & Western piece reporting that former state governor Angus King and business partner Rob Gardiner are working with landowner Bay Root LLC to establish a 25-tower wind farm for five miles of ridgeline near Rumford. The project will cost between $50 million and $100 million, with more than $1.5 million earmarked for permitting alone. King and Gardiner last year created Brunswick-based Independence Wind LLC to develop large-scale wind projects in New England
