Business Maine: Southern piece reporting that two businesses in Sanford recently announced expansion plans. Rubb Inc., a Norwegian maker of tension-fabric structures, said it will build a larger, $1.5 million manufacturing facility by 2009 and hire 18 more people. The expansion will accommodate customer demand for larger structures, used as airport hangars and to house indoor athletic fields. Meanwhile, skylight manufacturer Wasco Products Inc. will invest $1.3 million in new equipment and hire 30 new workers
