Capitol Update piece on the implications of the tax reform bill passed last spring, which is in limbo as the Secretary of State determines if there are enough signatures to force the measure to referendum next June. Members of the Legislature\u27s Taxation Committee are working to draft changes that may be needed to spell out what is covered by the sales expansion, and there are several bills in to address specific issues. The committee has also asked the Attorney General\u27s office for an opinion on the constitutionality of some provisions of the measure
