Focus: Augusta-Waterville piece on the annual Colby Economic Outlook, a short-term economic forecast of the national and Maine economies prepared by Colby College students enrolled in professor Michael Donihue\u27s economic forecasting seminar. Donihue created the project 17 years ago as a way to prepare students for jobs in the real worlds of business and public policy. Caroline Theoharides, who graduated from Colby with a degree in economics in 2006, is grateful for the experience, saying it helped her land a job at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
