Business Maine: Midcoast & Downeast piece reporting that Norm Ledwin, CEO of Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems (EMHS), recently announced his retirement from the organization he was instrumental in building. Ledwin has developed the Bangor-based nonprofit into a system that includes seven member hospitals and numerous health care facilities in nine counties. Ledwin\u27s legacy will include his efforts at keeping EMHS fiscally stable, the creation of LifeFlight of Maine, and the spread of the organization\u27s clinical activities to rural areas.
