Sharon Barker, director of the Women\u27s Resource Center at the University of Maine, said that the gender wage gap among full-time workers in Maine is an average of 77 cents. The study by the Women\u27s Employment Issues committee and the Maine Jobs Council did find that fewer Maine women live in poverty compared to the national rate
