The extension of federal tax credits for wind power projects is allowing developers and regulators to keep older projects on track and to begin new ones, including six projects currently before the Department of Environmental Protection. Some changes to the tax credit program might mean that financing will take a longer time, but the wind industry is still likely to see growth
