Business Maine: Northern piece reporting that J. D. Irving Ltd.\u27s pending sale of more than 70,000 acres of woods has locals worried that the effort\u27s of RESTORE: The North Woods, the organization promoting the creation of a Maine Woods National Park, will move-one step closer. Rumors are circulating that the northerly portion of the land is being purchased by Roxanne Quimby, founder of Burt\u27s Bees and advocate of the creation of the national park, and the southerly portion by well-known Maine woodland owner Herb Haynes of Winn and William Gardner of Millinocket.
