Business Maine: Central & Western piece on Sunday River\u27s plans for $14 million in summer upgrades, which will include a $7.2 million chondola. The chondola is a lift that has both gondola cabins and traditional chairlifts. The ski resort is installing the lift so that summer customers can be protected from bad weather as they travel to year-round facilities on the resort\u27s North Peak. Other summer plans for Sunday River include expanding snowmaking operations and upgrading the condominiums and hotels
