Ear to the Pavement piece on addition\u27s to Portland\u27s club scene including Asylum, a multifaceted entrerprise that will include an upscale cafe, banquet space, sports bar and dance club. The new owners of the building at 121 Center Street formerly home to Morganfield\u27s are Valerie Levy, Krista and Laurie Willey. The three intend to open Asylum in August after a total renovation of the space. Metropolis is another club opening this summer , it will replace Odyssey 2000 on Forest Avenue. Club owner Steve Bauman has decided to move Pavilion to Granny\u27s after pieces of the roof fell in just prior to a show. Finally Levinsky\u27s is moving from its Munjoy Hill location, where it has done business since 1919, to a location further down Congress Street to the Porteous annex. The location moves them close to L. L. Bean
