The nonprofit Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Company wants to extend the rail line north to Freeport. Guilford Transportation, which owns some of the track the narrow gauge would have to run on, indicated it would not share its track. The narrow gauge track now ends near Tukey\u27s Bridge in Portland, and repairs would have to be made to the trestle that spans the mouth of Back Cove
