Кизил (Cornus mas L.) в природі і культурі в Україні

Article illustrates the dissemination of Cornus mas L. in its natural habitat and beyond it in Ukraine. It's been revealed that areas and the cornelian cherry productivity in nature have decreased considerably. Cornelian cherry is cultivated in all regions, though in the south, southwest and northwest areas its occurrence is higher than such in the center and east. The northern boundary of the cornelian cherry successful fruiting may be drawn through the cities of Chemihiv and Hluhiv. High adaptation abilities of the sorts and forms of the cornelian cherry cultivated populations have been emphasized.Висвітлено розповсюдження кизилу (Cornus mas L.) у природі і за межами природного ареалу. Показано, що площі і продуктивність кизилу в природі дуже зменшились. У культурі в Україні кизил трапляється в усіх областях, переважно у південних, південно- і північно-західних районах, рідше – у центральних і східних. Північна межа успішного плодоношення кизилу проходить через Чернігів – Глухів. Відмічено високі адаптаційні можливості сортів і форм культурних популяцій
