O PERSPECTIVĂ ASUPRA FILANTROPIEI MISIUNII CREȘTIN-ORTODOXE

The philanthropic and social assistance work of the Church is part of the "œserve our fellowmen" dimension and is one of the main aspects of contemporary Christian theology, with ever deeper implications in the most varied aspects of the life of the Church, especially in the field of pastoral and social apostolate. Serving in this aspect is embraced as a fundamental truth in the biblical revelation, in the patristic tradition and in the history of the Christian Church and constitutes a God in the Holy Trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost, on the basis of the Holy Scripture and the Holy Tradition, and participates in the life of the Church through the same Holy Sacraments, liturgical services and canonical ordinances.
