The present study deals with the analysis of the epidemic process among the population of the Republic of Mari El (RME) with a disease caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV infection) with an assessment of the structure of the incidence by sex, age, social status and transmission routes. The medical and social parameters of HIV infection are given for the period from 2007 to 2016.
