EFEKTIVITAS KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL DALAM MENUMBUHKAN KEPRIBADIAN ISLAMI PADA ANAK

Islamic personality is a reflection of a strong willingness to apply Islamic values in life. Islamic personality must have been obtained by children early in their life and the initiation of such personality traits is the obligation of the parent/s of the children. One of many ways of teaching Islamic values to children is through interpersonal communication. The application of interpersonal communication aims at creating and maintaining good relationship with children and helps the children to face and solve their problems by bitterly understand the children. To achieve the goal of interpersonal communication in this context, honesty, openness and support are required from both parent and children. Such traits can be constructed optimally if the parent is involved in familial activity like playing and discussing things with children. Parent can implant Islamic personality to their children by giving example, appreciation and explanation concerning Islamic universal values.
