A total of 47 terrestrial gastropod species belonging to 18 families of the subclass Pulmonata have been collected in Comunidad de Madrid and cited in the bibliography. Three families show the largest number of cited species: Zonitidae, Higromiidae and Helicidae with six, thirteen and six species respectively.
