The checking of sculptured surfaces is one of the most important tasks in the field of three- dimensional coordinate measurement. The measuring method developed by us is applicable to coordinate measuring machines. There is no need for special software and for the approximate description of the checked surfaces. This is an all-purpose computational approximation method. The subroutines for description and drawing are dependent on the measured surfaces
