In the Largest Health public works project since the building of modbury and Flinders Medical Centre a decade ago the Lyell McEwin Hospital is to be redeveloped in a four stage program at a cost of $31m. The stage 2 will cost $10.5m and will include a new Out patients and Casualty department, Operating theatre & delivery suite, Day Surgery, Medical Records, Paramedical treatment areas and Community Health Facilities.
