Vita Hildegardis is a chamber opera in nine scenes. Each of the nine scenes captures a moment in the life of Hildegard von Bingen patron saint of Bingen and Eibingen in Germany. Through the use of rhythmic and melodic motivic repetition, stunning visual and dramatic effects, the composer constructs a work that allows the audience to witness scenes of Hildegard\u27s life and works, yet maintains a personal and introspective character. The work is suitable for performance at a church or small concert hall. Vita Hildegardis is scored for chamber ensemble, chamber chorus, and mezzo soprano
