In this exposition we discuss trigonometric interpolation at equally spaced points. This exposition is to a large degree self-contained. It can serve as an introduction to Fourier analysis. It is written with the idea of serving as a foundation for a course for advanced undergraduate or beginning graduate students. It requires some knowledge of linear algebra, undergraduate analysis, and familiarity with complex numbers
