Type A and Type B subjects were selected using the Jenkins Activity Scale. Subjects were exposed to various lengths of noncontingent feedback pretreatment, followed by a test phase consisting of anagram solution. A questionnaire measuring perception of control and importance of control was administered following the test phase.Within group variations on both the dependent variable and questionnaire responses negated the influence of the independent variable, producing nonsignificant results
